ZeroOdds ("we", "our", "the app") is a free gambling harm-reduction app for iOS. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and how you can manage or delete your information.

1. Information We Collect

Account information

Email address (if you sign up with email and password)
Apple ID identity token (if you sign in with Apple)
Display name you choose within the app

Financial behaviour data

Daily burn rate (the amount you set as your daily gambling spend)
Saved amounts and gambling source categories (Sports, Casino, Racing, Poker, Other)
Goal type and target amount (home deposit, emergency fund, or clear debt)
Growth benchmark preference

Usage data

Account creation and update timestamps
Daily reminder preference (on/off)

Data we do NOT collect

We do not collect location data
We do not use analytics or advertising SDKs
We do not collect push notification tokens — all notifications are local to your device
We do not sell or share your data with third parties for marketing purposes

2. How We Use Your Data

To provide the core app experience: projections, vault tracking, goals, and the community feed
To display your wins on the community feed (using your chosen display name only)
To maintain and improve the app

3. Data Storage and Security

All data is stored securely using Google Firebase infrastructure (Firebase Authentication and Cloud Firestore). Data is encrypted in transit and at rest by Firebase. We do not operate our own servers.

4. Community Feed

When you log a win, it is published to a shared community feed visible to all authenticated users. Only your display name, saved amount, and source category are shown — no email addresses or other personal identifiers are exposed.

5. Account and Data Deletion

You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from within the app:

Go to Profile → Delete Account & Data
This permanently deletes your profile, all logged wins, and your authentication credentials

You can also request account deletion by emailing support.zerodds@gmail.com. We will process deletion requests within 30 days.

6. Third-Party Services

The app uses the following third-party services:

Google Firebase (Authentication, Cloud Firestore) — Firebase Privacy Policy

7. Children's Privacy

ZeroOdds is not intended for children under 17. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can remove it.

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.

1. About the App

ZeroOdds is a harm-reduction tool designed to help users understand the financial cost of gambling. It is not a gambling app, financial advisor, or medical service. It does not facilitate or encourage gambling in any way.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 17 years old to use ZeroOdds.

3. Your Account

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You agree to provide accurate information when creating your account.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Use the app for any unlawful purpose
Post false or misleading information to the community feed
Attempt to access other users' accounts or data
Reverse-engineer, modify, or redistribute the app

5. Disclaimer

ZeroOdds is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. Financial projections shown in the app are illustrative only and do not constitute financial advice. We are not liable for any decisions made based on information displayed in the app.

6. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
